We are Joe and Skyler Semanchik, the owners of Gatekeeper Enterprises LLC, based out of the heart of the Coal Region in Pennsylvania.
THE BACK STORY: HOW WE GOT HERE
My wife and I were living in New Jersey and decided it was time for a change. I had been driving back and forth to the area for years to visit the various off-road parks. I knew this area would eventually become something big in the off-road community, and it was time for us to get involved.
We sold our house and moved to the Coal Region in August 2022. Home improvements, planning, and creating this dream quickly became our reality.
WHAT IS GATEKEEPER ENTERPRISES?
I have traveled all over the USA visiting off-road parks, and I knew there was a massive need for an all-inclusive style company to cater to this sport. What is the best part about a vacation? – not having to think about anything. Just show up and enjoy your time in the woods.
Geared toward larger groups, utilizing our services will allow your weekend to be custom planned from start to finish. We offer private accommodations suitable for parties of up to 8 guests. We ask for a survey before arrival to gauge what you are looking to get from your trip. We are centrally located between three offroad parks (Anthracite Adventure Outdoor Area, Famous Reading Outdoors, and Rausch Creek) with easy access to non-off-road options like Knoebels Amusement Park, wineries, and coal region tours.
We support local businesses. My wife and I have been exploring the area since moving here, trying out all different types of restaurants to see what they offer. We list recommendations directly on our website and can even help with reservations. Lodging also comes with a full kitchen if you want to stay in and cook!
Once we hit the trails, you are escorted to the park sections you want and can do, and I offer media packages to document your adventures. Photographs, videos, and highlight reels can all be provided to the group to capture your weekend in the woods.
