Securing your valuables is becoming more and more critical every day; sadly, the world is not as trustworthy as it should be. More and more padlocks, chains, and locking trailer tongues are required if you plan to leave your truck unattended for even a minute. With the annoyance of having to lock everything up comes the abundance of extra keys. You have to remember what key goes to which lock or label each key, and good luck trying to tell your buddy what key to use when he is helping hook up the trailer.

Is there a solution? How do you eliminate the annoying task of locking up all your equipment? How can you have fewer keys, lighter key rings, and a secure trailer? What if you could have all your locks use one key? That would be great! What if you could have all your locks use your truck ignition key? That would be even better, right? BOLT Lock does exactly that.
The BOLT Lock system learns your trucks’ ignition key on the first turn of the key in the lock. From then on, you have a padlock keyed to your truck and will never again forget the keys to the padlock at the house. How many times have you had to cut off padlocks because the keys for the padlocks are still hanging on the hook back at home, and you have already reached your destination?
BOLT Lock has a wide range of locks to secure all your gear, tools, trailers, and toys. They, of course, offer a standard padlock for endless versatility. It features 2-inch chrome-plated 5/16-inch diameter hardened steel shackle. The double ball bearing locking mechanism and plated tumbler sidebar are designed for maximum security. The locking hitch pin is perfect for keeping your trailer hitch from walking away. One of my favorite locks is the toolbox and standard lock cylinder. These will allow you to key most truck tool boxes, trailer boxes, and other lockable compartments to your truck key. Imagine having your camper shell keyed the same as your truck; how awesome would that be? BOLT Lock also has trailer tongue locks, 5th wheel locks, cable locks, and more.

Across the BOLT Lock lineup, you will find rubber-coated locks. This is great, especially on the pads, because if they swing against something, they won’t scratch the surface, for example, the front of your toolbox, trailer door, or whatever you are securing. The BOLT Locks also feature plated tumbler sidebars that will help prevent lock picking and bumping. They are weatherproof, and the stainless-steel lock shutters help keep dirt out of the mechanism. If anything does fail on the BOLT Lock, they have a limited lifetime warranty.
I have used the BOLT Lock system on all my compatible vehicles for years. They continue to operate smoothly even after hundreds of miles of dirt roads. It is great never having to wonder if I forgot the padlock keys. If I can start my truck, I know I have the keys to my trailer hitch pin and padlocks.
I have even keyed all my travel trailer locks with the BOLT Lock system. It was more cost-effective and easier to get the BOLT Lock System complete lockset with the same key than to order from another company. I highly recommend all of BOLT Lock’s products.
