Dating back to 1953, Jeep Jamboree USA just celebrated its 70th Anniversary. 4×4 pioneer Mark A. Smith organized the first-ever Jeep Jamboree traveling through the Sierra Nevada Mountains by way of the Rubicon Trail. The following year, Willys Motors, then the manufacturer of Jeeps, got involved, and Jeep Jamborees have been an off-road tradition since.
70 years later, Jeep Jamboree USA will host 39 events this year all over the United States. But as of this writing, only five still have open spots; all others have a waitlist. If Jeep Jamboree USA is on your bucket list, stop dawdling and get registered. www.jeepjamboreeusa.com
