Long term project 2003 Lexus GX470. The goal for this rig is to comfortable explore out world. We tow a 19ft travel trailer for base camping and take 0-2 night trips away from the trailer.

Built to haul the family

The GX470 is the perfect family overlanding vehicle. It has enough room for the full family and all the gear. Plenty of power to haul a trailer and tackle any trail. The biggest factor is the reliability of the 2UZ engine and Toyota drivetrain. I know when I take my family into the middle of nowhere it will get me home.

The aftermarket community rallied behind the GX470 in a big way. There are thousands of products to help make your GX470 more capable and comfortable. Our GX470 is nowhere near done and we often will swap out parts to test out the different products to give an honest review.
